2019-2021 Gained experience working for one of the NGOs Pepfar USAID backed organization Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI) which entailed working closely with the Finance Officer to ensure smooth operation of all financial matters and  assisting in proper control of the supporting documents for payments and financial reports.

• Was responsible for receiving itemized monthly bills of mobile phone calls of all staff members, invoices and distributing invoices to concerned staff members.
• Assisting in filing of supporting documents/invoices linked to expenditure.
• Assisting in accurately and timely entering key accounting data into the accounting system.
• Maintaining custody of cash box during working hours.
• Performing regular cash counts.
• Ensuring that all Petty cash transactions are adequately supported and approved.
• Developing and maintaining an updated and easily accessible hard copy and Electronic Finance Office Filing System.
• Assisting with payment processing, VAT Claims, end of year preparation and Audit Preparation.
• Providing technical assistance and capacity building to staff, including interpretation of policies, setting up of systems, trouble shooting and resolution of outstanding issues.
• Working together with the finance team in planning and carrying out trainings on FHI 360 policies and procedures.
• Conducting other general administrative functions as may be requested in support of the Finance Department.
