Welcome to Zimbabwe Association of Church-Related Hospitals (ZACH)

ZACH is the Medical Arm of Churches in Zimbabwe  and a non profit making membership based association formally registered in 1974. It is registered in Zimbabwe in terms of the Private Voluntary Organisations Act (Chapter 17:05). Its registration number is (38/75).We are currently made up of 130 members country wide covering hospitals and clinics. We have a secretariat headed by an Executive Director.

Coordination, networking, representing member institutions, seeking donations, assisting member institutions in obtaining staff and medical supplies, planning and coordinating training programs, linking partners with member institutions, monitoring, and evaluation, information dissemination, implementing programs and activities with member institutions.

Our mandate is to assist and support member institutions in the provision of quality health care service delivery to all Zimbabweans, especially to the most vulnerable groups in society.

The Association secretariat operates from Harare facilitating the operations of church-related hospitals and clinics throughout Zimbabwe. Through its membership, ZACH has a presence in all rural districts of Zimbabwe.
